Być może twoi rodzice nie pozwalają ci jeszcze samodzielnie, lub z kolegami wychodzić na ulicę. Może to byc bardzo niebezpieczne, jeśli nie zwracasz wystarczającej uwagi na wszystko co dzieje się dookoła ciebie. Twoi rodzice będą wiedzieć, kiedy będziesz wystarczająco duży, aby zrobić ten krok w dorosłość.
Istnieją zasady i przepisy mające na celu zachowanie twojego bezpieczeństwa jako pieszego. Jeśli rodzice pozwalają ci już wychodzić samodzielnie na ulicę, najważniejszą zasadą jest trzymanie się z daleka od jezdni. Jest to łatwe, jeśli droga ma chodniki. W miejscach, gdzie nie ma chodnika powinieneś iść lewym poboczem, jak najdalej od jezdni.
